TM Resourcing (Technical Devision) are currently working with a market leading manufacture of Mayonnaise and sauces in the food industry.

Working relationships and contacts:

Internal: Engineering and Production Management, Shift Supervisors, Night Shift Cleaner Setters, Machine Operatives, Mixers, Hygiene, Warehouse, Administration, and Production Manager.

External: Visitors, Engineering Contractors and Suppliers.

Main Duties:

To service and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in the factory by conducting preventive and emergency procedures.

Detailed responsibilities:

To make scheduled checks (PPMs) on machinery and parts.

To find and fix faults and recalibrate instruments.

To oil and clean machinery and parts.

To overhaul and replace parts according to schedules.

To fit new parts as required.

To comply with all factory standards and procedures.

To respond immediately to machinery breakdowns.

To pay close attention to HASAW regulations and requirements at all times whilst performing their work.

To ensure that the factory is working at optimum efficiency by conducting daily visual checks of all equipment and communication with operatives. Record details on the 'Daily Check Sheet' and action as required.

Enable team to hit set KPI targets.

Ensure that the efficiency of the plant/machinery is maximised through continuous improvement.

Flexibility required to work all shift patterns to cover holidays, sickness or production needs.

Must be available to do overtime from time to time.

Able to work on his own or as part of a team.

Candidates must be made aware that this vacancy is to cover the night shift working 10PM - 06AM Monday to Friday

Salary - £DOE with shift allowance
