We are currently recruiting for a successful company in Kidderminster. This company has an experienced and highly skilled team who work in the manufacture and supply of GRP mouldings (glass reinforced plastic) and assemblies. They have over 30 years experience in many different industries.

They use several techniques including RTM (resin transfer moulding), hand lay-up, spray lay-up and RTM light. They also complete trimming, finishing and assembly.

  • You will be identifying scratches, pinholes, mould defects, cavities and all other fibreglass imperfections.
  • In time performing high quality gel repairs.
  • Ability to use all finishing materials required to complete the job, i.e. sanding, polishing mops, orbital sanders, etc.
  • You will follow work instruction to ensure products are finished to the correct standards.
  • Be an integral part of the finishing team, but work in other areas over time.
  • Working to Health and Safety policies.
  • in all areas of the impregnation shop and learning the whole process (;
  • Working alongside experienced staff who want someone to teach;
  • Testing of sealants to ensure sealant stability;
  • Learning about chemicals and how they react on metals;
  • Booking in of working and ensuring jobs are completed on time;
  • Working in all areas of the organisations to build knowledge – the company are looking for future Managers to run the company.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade A* - D including Maths and English or equivalent. The role is subject to Apprenticeship funding rules which will be advised on application.
