An opportunity has arisen for a Portfolio Reconcilliations Analyst to join our client, an established Investment Management firm based in London City.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

*Maintain accuracy and integrity of any transactions in the Aladdin IBOR
*Check and publish cash balances to Fund Management each morning within strict deadline
*Follow documented procedures to ensure each cash and stock difference is identified and is actively
being managed through to resolution
*Work with other teams within Operations to further improve the accuracy of data within the IBOR,
identifying any themes and taking positive action to address and resolve
*Develop effective working relationships with Custodians and Fund Administrators to ensure they are
delivering accurate, timely, best of breed information to allow full reconciliation of all positions held on
our IBOR
*Own individual allocated workload and proactively look into the root cause of any problems, suggesting
and implementing ideas and processes to contain future risk.
*Produce and document procedures to the standard and format stipulated within the company.
*Be a technical / subject matter expert in reconciliations and first point of contact for others within the
*Work within the team, be flexible to workload adjustments and be able to provide cover for team

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:

*Experience within a similar role in Financial Services with proven experience of resolving reconciliation
differences and implementing effective changes
*Has dealt with different types of products/assets and has experience of reconciling these. Including
Equities, Fixed Income, derivatives and FX hedging
*Experience and/or knowledge using Aladdin (desirable)
*Knowledge of custodian's working processes and proprietary websites (desirable)
*SWIFT message knowledge (desirable)
*Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to proactively solve problems and
manipulate complex data
*Proven track record in building strong relationships with internal teams and external counterparties
*A positive and professional approach allied with a strong work ethic
*Able to start the working day before 8am, and flexible to workload and working hours
