Due to an exciting year of growth we are now looking for a Credit Controller to join our team based in Stafford. As part of a small team you will perform credit control duties for a number of our branches, and support with the collection of outstanding debtors and department reporting responsibilities. Along with cash posting to the Sales Ledger


Duties include, but are not limited to, the following;

Collect outstanding debts through telephone and email collection techniques.Maintain client files including recording conversations and filing correspondence, sourcing and filing Experian reports, sourcing and filing insurance correspondence and filing of application forms, contracts and other documentation as required. Maintain client accounts including accurate presentation of outstanding debts, constant, credit limits, and client details. Maintaining narratives and diaries.Commitment to building a strong relationship with the Credit Control Manager, Team Supervisor and your Credit Controller colleagues as this is fundamental to the smooth running of the department.Liaising with clients and internal staff to resolve queries and problems.Assisting your Manager and Senior Management with reporting and information requestsAdhere to the organisation’s policy and procedures on information security and take whatever actions are required to safeguard data and assets.Posting of cash to the Sales LedgerAdditional Duties as requiredTo be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working within a similar role. Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesHave working knowledge of Microsoft applications (excel) and other back office systems. Have the ability to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectivesHave the ability to think logically, consider all relevant aspects and carry out basic analysis on informationDemonstrate excellent attention to detailBe computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft OfficeHave excellent communication skills In return we offer a competitive salary with the opportunity to grow and develop you career plus;
