Location: Bury St Edmunds, IP32 6NL

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Hours: 36.5 hours per week

12 months Fixed Term Contract

The role

We are currently looking for a Technical Team Leader to join our Home Improvement Agency team in Bury St Edmunds. As well as line managing a team of five Technical Officers, you will also provide advice and oversee building work to ensure vulnerable customers are provided with the correct repairs and adaptations of their homes.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their managerial experience as you will be responsible for organising objective setting and appraisal meetings. You will also take overall responsibility for maintaining and monitoring the list of approved contractors.

About you

To be successful you'll need to take an active approach of meeting customer requirements and providing a strong, reliable service. A working technical background in building and planning is helpful as well as a construction, building technology or estates management qualification.

This role requires a confident and dynamic individual who can actively support the team to achieve their targets. You will need to be able to analyse data and posses good knowledge of IT and Excel spreadsheets.
