A global, expanding company, who offer world class services, have an exciting opportunity to join the team in their Finance Service Centre as a Billing Clerk. The company employs around 3000 staff world wide. The Leeds based Financial Service Centre is made up of a large finance team and supports all of the nationwide offices to ensure all internal and external clients receives the best possible service.

This purpose of this job is to sit in the Billings Team and ensure billing duties are processed accurately and in a timely manner. In this role you will work both independently and as part of a team so self motivation is essential. The company are really keen on training their staff to ensure that they are given the opportunity to progress once in the company.

Duties of the role include:

* Process bill reversals, bill write offs and credit notes
* Liaise with secretaries, fee earners and credit control in a professional manner
* Be first point of contact for billing queries
* Set matter budgets and charge out exception rates
* Administer file closure requests
* Process interest calculations

Knowledge of SRA Accounts rules would be advantageous for this role as well as an outline working of VAT. This is a great opportunity to be part of a large finance team where there is scope to develop and grow as a professional.
