Axon Moore are working with a large global FTSE 250 business based in Manchester City Centre. We have an exciting opportunity for a Cash and Bank Control Analyst to join their Treasury division on a permanent contract due to growth.

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for managing and reconciling cash positions and overseeing electronic fund transfers.

Duties as follows
  • Prepare reconciliations and manage cash positions. Ability to do this in system and also manually in Excel if needed.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation items on a timely basis, escalating internally when required
  • Process electronic fund transfers
  • Reconcile payment card settlement
  • Maintain accurate records of cash reconciliation activities
  • Analyse processes into their constituent parts, identify problems and suggest solutions
  • Seek to identify process improvements – systems and non-systems – and implement
  • Maintain and distribute daily cash positions
  • Maintain accurate record of payments
  • Undertake any necessary training associated with the duties of the post and participate in training and development procedures
  • Other reasonable duties as and when required
Experience required
  • GCSE English & Maths essential or higher.
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, must be able to speak to internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner, representing the team and wider department.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Excel)
  • You will ideally have used ERP systems before.
  • Ability to operate in a service driven culture, continuously challenging and seeking to be better.
  • Committed team player.
  • Trustworthy, diligent and self-motivated. Will be responsible for controlling high value transactions.
  • High level of inputting accuracy.
  • Able to organise own workload and to reprioritise at short notice in order to meet deadlines.
  • Able to break down processes into their constituent parts, identify problems and suggest solutions.
