Commercial Insurance Customer Adviser

Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Customer Adviser who has dealt with Commercial Insurance queries to support Combined Liability, supporting Contractors All Risks, Professional Indemnity, Property, D&O, Fleet, etc. Liaising with clients and insurance brokers, you will be working within a small busy team in this friendly office.

The successful candidate will be required to deal with the following: -

  • Customer queries via telephone or email.
  • MTA’s
  • Claim handling
  • Payment chasing.
  • Checking policy documents
  • Liaising with insurers
  • Advising clients on their current insurance policies.
  • Arranging finance for insurance premiums.
  • Chasing payments.
  • Skills required

    • Insurance retention and renewals experience within the Commercial Insurance sector is essential
    • Able to build good working relations with business customers as well as within the team
    • A team player, ready and able to balance achieving individual and team goals
    • Excellent communication skills,
    • Able to use initiative when engaging with customers
    • A good telephone manner, able to adapt tone and direction to suit the needs of customers
    • Cert11 qualifications would be advantageous
    Working hours Monday -Friday 9-5

    Holiday 23 days + bank holidays
