I have to say it is a bit of a cliché, but what a fantastic reason to find something to stimulate your mind once again!!!!

We are looking for highly motivated individuals for one of our key clients are looking for a passionate and diligent Financial Accountant to join their team. This is an opportunity for someone to really immerse themselves into the financial aspect of the business

You will be offered a clear progression structure with support to become a fully qualified accountant.

What happens then?... Well, you'll be able to experience the business from different angles by moving around the business and understanding how the different areas of finance function.

Ticking the boxes so far?

Well, the Financial Accountant role will require the successful candidate to do the following:
*Preparation of monthly P&L and balance sheet data
*Ensure full reconciliation of reported accounts to P&L and Balance Sheet, monthly balance sheet reconciliations and explanations
*Assist the FC with preparation of Statutory accounts and Tax returns
*Preparation, posting and explanation of accruals and prepayments
*Reconciliation of all bank accounts and Petty cash
*Inter-company reconciliations (4 companies)
*Fixed Assets Register management and reconciliation
*Assist with VAT returns and reconciliations
*Review of cash flow forecasting
*Assist with annual external audit

Other than what has been detailed above, we are expecting candidates to have started their path to becoming qualified and already have started their CIMA or ACCA qualification or as a minimum, at least have their first exams booked to sit in the New Year.

You will already have several years experience working in a supporting role with Financial Accounts. You will be driven and passionate, effective in your communication and diligent.

In addition to this, you will have a decent level of Excel skills, being able to do vlookups, pivot tables and at least some understanding of advanced formulae and how they work.
