My client is an established and regognised business in Crewe who work within a niche industry sector.

Purpose of the Job

·To collate and reconcile payments received from companies and contributions from Health Shield members via their payrolls, invoicing as appropriate

·To raise invoices for companies paying for Health Shield schemes by direct debit, and set up for collection the relevant direct debit payments

·To set up for collection direct debit contributions from Health Shield members, collating and reconciling payments received

·To input relevant payments and contributions onto the Sales Ledger and allocate them accordingly

·To maintain good customer relations with companies & intermediaries


-Ensure department KPIs are achieved in relation to own ledger accounts

-Monitor incoming sales ledger emails and forward as appropriate to the Membership Team advising of start/leaving/amendment dates if relevant

-Liaise closely with the Membership Team to ensure accuracy of invoices produced and elimination of avoidable errors

-Issue part two of application form to pay offices as required

-Ensure valid company direct debit mandates are in place where appropriate

-Match contribution listings with BACS and cheque payments

-Reconcile all contribution listings with Health Shield company listings from the Navision system

-Process refunds and collect arrears

-Check P & U status members and ascertain reasons why they have not been processed

-Resolve Claims queries regarding payments

-Take responsibility for the credit control of own sales ledger accounts, monitoring regularly and taking appropriate action when required

- Bank cheques as required

- Process card payments made direct from members over the phone

- Assist with the minimising of business risk, identify risk events and follow through the reporting procedure as required

- Be aware of Health & Safety issues, following through the reporting procedure as required

-Undertake any other duties as directed by management
