Title: Management Accountant

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 + company bonus scheme

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm

Area: Ableworld Head Office, Stapeley Technology Park, London Road, Stapeley CW5 7JW

Due to business growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our finance team, to work alongside the current Management Accountant and provide day to day support to the Finance Director.

The role will be responsible for managing a small team that provides book-keeping and accounting services for a number of the Ableworld franchise businesses. This service covers most aspects of the accounting functions for these individual limited companies including; invoice processing, supplier account reconciliations, VAT returns, bank reconciliation, monthly payment runs etc. through to production and analysis of monthly profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts as well as budget and forecast setting. Personality and suitable experience are key attributes and so part qualified, QBE and qualified accountants will be considered.

The role offers varied exposure to work within finance which includes:

    Managing and developing finance staffProduction of monthly management accounts packs for franchise businesses to monthly timetable, focusing on P&L performance and cash flow managementRevenue and Cost analysisBalance sheet reconciliationsPreparation of budgets and forecastsProduction of documentation and liaising with external accountants to facilitate production of statutory accounts and year-end tax returnsOther adhoc duties within the finance department
The successful candidate will:

    Have strong spreadsheet skills (e.g. working knowledge of H and V lookups, pivot tables, if functions, sumif functions etc.)Be accustomed to working to strict deadlines within a busy finance department.Be an enthusiastic team player and have a passion to achieve the highest standardsHave the ability to work under your own initiativePreferably have experience of managing staffIdeally have experience using Sage accounts although this is not essential.
This is a full time, permanent position, 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday to Friday, based at the Ableworld Head office in Stapeley, Nantwich. Due to the nature of the work the occasional trip to franchise stores may be required.

A DBS check will be required for which Ableworld will meet the cost.
