Accounts and Payroll Assistant required for a local friendly company based in SALISBURY. This is a permanent position paying £22,000 - £23,000pa. The hours of work are Monday-Thursday 8.00am to 17.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 16.30pm. The company offer 28 days holiday per year inclusive of bank holidays, free parking.

This is a great opportunity to join a fun, friendly well established company as an Accounts and Payroll Assistant to assist a busy Finance department in all aspects of the accounts function. In this position your duties will include:
  • Weekly Payroll and Processing sub-contractor payments
  • Credit control
  • Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Processing cash book payments, receipts and bank reconciliation along with inter account transfers
To be a successful candidate you must:
  • Have a working experience in running weekly payroll and Sales/ Purchase ledger.
  • Have a good working knowledge of Sage 50
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Possess a good work ethic along with a "can do" attitude
  • Must have experience in Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word.
