We have an opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to join an established Manufacturing company in Caerphilly. As a supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the running of the Technical team which includes 5 members of staff however growing rapidly.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Management of a busy Technical team
Daily Preparation, Inspection, Testing & Quality Checks of product
Repair and maintain medical devices both on and off site.
Deliver and collection of equipment from sites.
Delivering customer product training both on and off site.
Electrical safety testing on all electrical products.
Ensuring these systems are registered onto the company database and documenting progress against weekly targets.
Managing Pump Stock in Tech Services ready for dispatch.
Flexible attitude to work in other areas of Tech Services.
Manual lifting will be required.

Skills and Experience Required:

Strong Interpersonal Skills.
Must have a proven track record working within the medical sector
Supervisory or management experience is essential
Previous experience in a mechanical or electrical environment would be advantageous.
Electrical and mechanical fault finding skills.
City and Guilds 2377 Electrical Safety Testing would be an advantage but not essential
Previous experience in a maintenance environment, ideally care or hospital environment.
Be self-motivated and work flexibly and under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.
Good IT skills including the use of Outlook and the ability to work with PDA or smart phone.
Occasional weekend work and stays away from home may be required.
Full driving license is essential to this role (6 points max)
An awareness of health and safety in a technical environment
The ability to work quickly and methodically
Good team working skills the ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks.
The ability to follow instructions and a willingness to work flexibly.
