Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 - Excellent benefit package
Shift: Continental - 4on 4off

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious manufacturer who have a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically biased maintenance engineer to join the Engineering team at one of their many sites in Wakefield. Individuals must have experience working within a fast paced environment and used to meeting strict deadlines. Ideally candidates will be NVQ level 3 qualified (or equivalent) but may consider individuals at Level 2 should they have an excellent attitude and passion towards their work and be willing to undertake further training.

Main aspects of the role:
* Work collaboratively within the Engineering team
* Investigate means of improving plant productivity
* Investigate and establish causes of all breakdowns and damages
* Action any necessary repairs and ensure all measures taken are recorded so recurrent faults can be recognised.
* Be involved in both electrical and mechanical reactive and pro-active maintenance.

Requirements:
*You will be qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical Engineering, BTEC level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering)
*Ideally, IEE qualification up to 17th edition Wiring Regulations
*Have a proven track record in an Engineering and fault finding role gained from within a FMCG environment (Ideally Food Industry)
*Previous experience programming PLC would be beneficial
