A Japanese speaking Accounting and Administration Officer is required at a steadily growing Japanese FX company with its London hub based in the City.

It is in a calm and quiet small office environment and therefore will suit someone who is self-sufficient with excellent communication skills to deal with office administration as well as Accounting duties.

The working hours can be negotiable, e.g. working hours,working from home on some days, Part-time, etc.

MAIN DUTIES:

< Financial Accounting > Preparation of Financial statements, i.e. Month-end Closing, B/S, P/L, T/B, AR, AP, Cash flow (asset, liability, net assets, revenue, expenses), bookkeeping, Monthly/ quarterly Reports and general accounting, e.g. dealing with invoices, expenses, Tax / VAT returns.

< Office Administration > Answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, posts, filing, stationeries/ office maintenance, facility management, HR/ Internal compliance related, Secretarial duties, and any other ad-hoc duties.

Assist Compliance Manager for KYC, FATCA, Due Diligence and liaise/ communicate with regulatory authorities.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Mother tongue level Japanese (Spoken and Written)

Fluent English (Spoken and Written)

UK Accountancy qualified/ part-qualified/ currently studying (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, AAT, ACA, ICA)

Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Flexible and multi-tasker

Attention to detail

[Advantage but not a 'must']

Qualification in Compliance for financial/ banking

Proficient in SAP

Working experience in Accounts/ Finance in Banking sector.
