£26k to £30k basic plus Company Car plus Generous OTE

To cover the NorthWest and Yorkshire areas Full Time Permanent

Are you a natural business developer and able to prospect and win new business ? Do you want to spearhead the business development team of a high flying winning training provider ? Does working in the apprenticeships sector excite you ? Do you enjoy networking and presenting to company decision makers and have the ability to build and develop long term relationships ? Do you like to do things differently and have your own style of generating leads and contacts and making business happen? Yes ? This could be your next best move.....

This is a newly created role designed to spearhead our training provider into various markets where you will be presenting and selling solutions and services to new and existing customers across the North West. Our client already provide apprenticeships to a range of clients across the UK (mainly in the North West and Yorkshire), they are now keen to accelerate growth quickly by taking on a confident business developer with a proven track record of gaining results and understands the Apprenticeship Levy. As an Employer Partnership Consultant you will be visiting new and existing clients with a view to gaining new apprenticeship roles within customer service, glass, warehousing and distribution, food and drink manufacturing, business administration, team leading and management, hospitality, retail, general manufacturing, IT and furniture.

We are looking for:

  • Previous experience of meeting employer needs through recruitment, training, education or other development solutions
  • Entrepreneurial flair
  • Previous experience in a business development sales environment
  • Experienced with identifying and generating new sales leads
  • A proven history of meeting and exceeding objectives whilst ensuring revenue objectives are met
  • A professional representative to act as the ambassador and be well connected within the NorthWest/Yorskhire
  • You will be:

  • Organising and attend client meetings
  • Pitch and present persuasively on products and/or services
  • Build and maintain positive and fruitful working relationships with existing customers
  • Researching organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing, recruitment and training
  • Identifying and attending conferences, networking meetings, and industry events
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
  • Do you know this market and feel you could successfully engage with businesses who will engage with an apprenticeship model. The qualifications are in high demand and client uptake is high, so with the right connections and background this role will ideally suit a highly ambitious driven and sales focused individual. Successful applicants will own their own area and develop long term client relationships, retain and promote an unrivalled work based learning programme. This role also comes with plenty of progressional opportunities into a more senior/management employer partnership role in the future. 2018 could be your year !
