Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Plant Accountant for a manufacturing organisation based in Telford.

The Role

You will provide key financial indicators and performance for the financial activities of the UK division (and or site). You will be responsible for the production of deadline driven detailed reporting, analysis and interpretation focussed upon the Sales to Gross Margin, stock and WIP and Supply Chain analysis.

Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Flash report of sales for the month and YTD
  • Development, reporting and distribution of KPI’s – financial and operational
  • Internal financial controls, processes, procedures and ensuring that the region/business adheres to standards for monitoring and controlling costs and revenue analysis.
  • Maintain financial integrity in profit results and balance sheet
  • Factory labour analysis
  • Forecasting & Budgeting
  • Assemble actual and forecast cost positions during the month and at month end
  • Preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets and cash

What do we need?
  • Qualified - ACCA/CIMA.
  • Preferable manufacturing experience
  • Very strong communicator

A salary of up to £48,000 plus company benefits.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience within Management Accounts within a fast paced environment. You will keen to present accurate information to senior management and act as key representative of the business. The business is experiencing fantastic growth and you must have the hunger to progress and achieve.
