About Our Client

A US company with a global presence, our client provides financial services to both corporate and financial institution customers including credit, payments, financing, foreign exchange, and trade services.

Job Responsibilities:

Working as part of the international testing & validation team, you will perform reviews across multiple entities and lines of business, engaging with key stakeholders (both within relevant lines of business and fellow control function team members) to effectively plan and coordinate testing activity.

You will perform fieldwork within the relevant business lines, testing system and control designs, keeping all stakeholders appraised to ensure a zero-surprises approach on review outcomes and potential problems. You will identify and raise gaps, issues and recommendations for system and control enhancements and formally agree associated action plans, as well as formally documenting review activity and raising findings in Compliance Activity Reports.

Ultimately, you will work with risk colleagues and lines of business to formally track issues to closure.

Preferred Skills:

- financial crime compliance (FCC), especially testing
- anti-money laundering (AML)
- EU regulation (at least as it relates to financial crime)

Personal Attributes:

- methodical approach, taking ownership of projects
- good people skills, able to liaise with key stakeholders to promote positive outcomes
- previous experience in a similar role
