Established since 2001 The Edam Group is an umbrella company for Easi-Drive Accident Management. Privately owned we started off small with just 3 members of staff, since then we’ve gone through steady growth making us a one stop shop for post-accident management services and become a recognised name in the industry. We’re proud to now employ over 300 members of staff with a turnover of over £35m but we are far from done; with growth plans in place we are set to increase our turnover and market share meaning there has never been a more exciting time to join The Edam Group.

As a Credit Hire Claims Handler reporting to a Credit Hire Team Leader, your key responsibility will be to assess new accident referrals from business partners to ascertain whether they are fault or non-fault. You’ll then make all necessary checks and enquiries into liability before arranging a replacement hire vehicle and/or repairs for non-fault clients, ensuring all processes relating to credit hire and credit repair are managed in line with SLAs and agreed standards. Handling calls quickly and efficiently with clients, customers and insurers to discuss, record and progress cases, politely and professionally, you’ll also need to ensure data is processed accurately. Other key deliverables include:

  • timely resolution of queries to ensure customer satisfaction
  • promoting our products and services
  • completing any administration,
  • working efficiently and proactively to achieve your targets and progress your caseload.

Ideally, you already have a proven track record in credit hire/insurance, with some credit hire conversions experience, although that’s not absolutely essential. However, you must be able to work efficiently and proactively. Dynamic and results-driven, with excellent all-round communication skills including a superb telephone manner, you’re also an enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently, or as one of a team, to KPIs and targets. You can also offer:

  • good time management, organisational and prioritising skills
  • integrity and respect for others
  • true customer focus
  • real passion for your work.

Benefits of the Edam Group:

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Company car scheme
  • Free breakfasts
  • Buy/sell holidays
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Childcare vouchers
  • Saving Scheme
  • And many more...
