Job Purpose:
To provide administrative support for our client's Financial Services team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ongoing maintenance and updating of client information on the database system – Intelligent Office (IO)• Assist with the processing of correspondence and application forms• Prepare correspondence to product providers and clients• Liaise with product providers via telephone and email• Assist with general office administration• Any other ad hoc duties as instructed
Key Tasks:
• Inputting data and keeping client database up to date to the software system• Prioritising outstanding work and ensure all tasks are completed to deadlines• Keeping detailed lists of outstanding items• Following up on client requests to ensure they have been passed to the right member of staff or have been dealt with• Following up on client applications to ensure they are progressing efficiently• Any other ad hoc duties
Skills:
• Experience – minimum 2 years in a financial services administration role• Excellent written skills – provide evidence of the ability to communicate with accurate spelling and grammatically correct English• Excellent communication skills• Self-Motivated – Able to work alone and self-start to ensure that set targets are achieved and completing tasks to time scales set• Proficient IT skills – ability to use Microsoft Office• Excellent Time Management & organisational skills – able to work to deadlines and keep others informed of progress• Honest and trustworthy – Strong sense of ethical and professional behaviour ensuring that confidentiality and ethical standards as set out in the FCA Conduct of Business are always maintained both in and out of the office• Passionate about providing excellent client service• Team orientated – at all times remain supportive to the whole team and display a positive outlook• Ability to use financial services back office packages e.g. Intelligent Office• Preferably experience in IO (Intelligent Office)• Administration in financial services environment
