Our client, based in Hull, is a leading accountancy practice and payroll bureau. They provide first class services to both businesses and private clients throughout the region.

Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their team. The Senior appointment will mean taking responsibility for a series of clients’ weekly payroll duties and ensuring the team are working efficiently and accurately. This will be managed by the Department manager who will aid in account management and customer meeting

Salary £20,000 - £23,000 DOE


·Input of amendments to gross pay

·Running Gross to Net

·Preparing RTI Information including FPS, EPS and if possible CIS

·Preparing and processing Auto Enrolment for clients, preparing pension reports and uploading to various pension providers

·Monitor the effectiveness of office procedures and make improvement recommendations

·Support the Payroll Team as required, being aware of colleagues’ workload and provide advice where necessary

Candidate Requirements

·3-5 years’ practical experience of running weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish

·Experience of using various BACS payments software

·Experience of using Sage 50 Payroll is beneficial

·Knowledge of HMRS Legislation, Statutory Payments, and Auto Enrolment

·Be able to work alone as well as part of a team, work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as client liaison is an absolute necessity in this role

This is a full time, permanent position with working hours of Monday-Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm.
