North East UK - Newcastle

A successful Controls company is seeking to recruit a BMS specialist Service and Maintenance Engineer for a mobile role covering the North East region.

One of their key services is the provision of building management systems allowing their clients to monitor and effectively manage the energy consumption of their commercial spaces reducing costs and negative environmental impacts.

Role Profile
The successful applicant for this BMS Service Engineer role will need to have exceptional knowledge (and training) in BMS and ideally expertise with Trend or Siemens Systems.This is a mobile position and as such, you will be required to travel across the North East (and occasionally further afield). You will be required to perform PPM and reactive maintenance duties and take responsibility for small projects such as upgrades etc. You will be part of the call out team (1 week in 4). The ability to modify software is a must.

Key Skills

  • Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (to HNC/ONC or equivalent)
  • Experienced in the maintenance of Building Management Systems
  • Qualified and experienced with Trend systems
  • Excellent knowledge of Trend BMS software and able to complete modifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Client focused
  • Full, clean drivers licence
