Axon Moore are exclusively representing a leading international business with strong year on year organic and acquisition growth.

We are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Financial Accountant who will be responsible for preparation of Head Office Management Accounts. Reporting in to a Group Accountant you will also manage payroll end to end and support the Senior Group Finance team with duties as follows:

  • Perform the month end preparation of the management accounts for the Head Office Corporate cost centres
  • Administrate the UK Managed payrolls end to end including the reconciliation and payment of payroll related taxes and deductions
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Support the Tax and Treasury Manager with the preparation of UK tax returns, daily cash management and the administration of the Group’s loan facilities
  • Support the Group Financial Accountant in the preparation of the Financial Statements for the Subsidiary companies
  • Support the Group Financial Accountant with the preparation of the Group consolidated accounts
  • Prepare other periodic and ad hoc reporting
  • Prepare periodic compliance certificates and surveys
  • Support the preparation of UK VAT returns
  • Provide support to other members of the Finance team as and when required.

Experience and qualifications required:
  • Have an AAT qualification or working towards an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
  • Previous experience of working in a finance function
  • Previous experience of using ERP systems
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills (Vlookups , SUMIFs & Pivot Table use)
