The Company:

Our client is the fastest growing Solicitors in the area.
They pride themselves on providing friendly, approachable and value for money legal services - with a high level of professional expertise. They believe solicitors should be proactive by keeping clients informed and advised well before problems arise.

The Role:

The successful Part Time Litigation Lawyer will be an enthusiastic and motivated lawyer to join our client to conduct the firm's own debt recovery as well as general civil litigation.
Our client currently have 3 offices - Salisbury, Amesbury and Andover, and at the end of September 2017 will be opening a 4th office - Fording bridge - by taking over long established local law firm. You could work from whichever office is most convenient for you.
The job is suitable for an experienced legal executive, or the equivalent. The right experience and genuine ability is what our client is really looking for.
So, if you are a confident, well-presented, friendly and approachable litigator with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.
The job is suitable for an experienced lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE or equivalent. It's not suitable for a highly experienced solicitor.
You will have at least 3 years' experience of general civil litigation - it is essential that experience includes, but is not limited to, debt collection work and have a thorough understanding of the law and practice surrounding litigation.
You will have the ability to run a caseload unsupervised and a history of strong billing.
It is anticipated that the workload will provide a variety of civil litigation work. The successful candidate will in particular be responsible for the firm's debt collection and assisting with credit control.
Our client is happy to be flexible on hours - but it might, perhaps, suit someone working 10am-3 pm Monday to Friday to fit in with school or childcare arrangements.
Our client offers flexible working if required - many of their lawyers routinely work from home, for example. They are more concerned with output than input - what they are really looking for is quality work, highly satisfied clients and great billing.
