Weavers Fields Community Nursery and Preschool are looking for experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join a full day care community nursery and a term time only pre-school.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours Full time & 35 hours Term time (per week)

Shift work between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm

Salary: £21,196 (full-time) and £17,120 (term-time) per annum

Level 3 childcare qualification on QCA framework of qualifications or equivalent, all candidates must have evidence of some professional development.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with children 0 to 5 years.

Weavers Fields Community Nursery opened in January 2007 and the pre-school is due to open in January 2018, the nursery is registered for 30 children and operates as a mixed age group nursery. The nursery/pre-school is based in Bethnal Green within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The nursery/pre-school is situated adjacent to Weavers Fields Park. There are good transport links, including overground, tube and buses.

The Early Years Practitioner will be a ‘key person’ for a group of key babies/children and will have experience of keeping records in accordance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements. In addition, the role requires the practitioner to work as part of a team, taking responsibility to ensure that all children, in the nursery/pre-school receive the highest standard of care and education.

The Early Years Practitioner’s role is permanent, the nursery/pre-school has strong ethos in supporting and developing staff.
