Role and Responsibilities
·Analysis financial and operational MI to provide actionable insight.
·Contribute to the delivery of MI, analysis and insight relating to the wider business.
·Drive forward the implementation of visual analytics as a tool within the department.
·Ensure that risks and opportunities relating to emerging and current issues are fully understood
·Provide statistical support to the wider business.
·Provide insight into emerging and existing trends for the quarterly reserving process.
·Work closely with the Pricing Team to explain trends and to provide insight for pricing decisions.
·Work with the Technical managers to support the Savings programme through the use of analysis and insight.
·Liaison with regulatory bodies to ensure that any requests for MI are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required
·Educated to degree in a mathematical subject(s) or equivalent highly desirable.
·Possess excellent working knowledge of the financial services industry.
·Highly developed PC/IT skills are essential
·Strong ability with statistical packages and computer programming.
·Manage and analyse data and provide sound recommendations is paramount.
·Advanced IT skills, including a detailed knowledge of a broad range of Microsoft Software / SAS, SQL and Visual Basic
·Excellent analytical and technical skills
·Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical parties.
·The resilience and motivation to provide consistency of work performance at all times
·Exceptional and proven time management and organisational skills
·Confident working and liaising at a senior level.
