This well-established and truly global business; with award winning products, are looking to enhance their finance team in the UK with a Credit Controller. They have offices worldwide and their UK office supports their European business. Your new role
You will be working as the conduit between their overseas shared service centre and their customer service team in the UK, in order to resolve queries and remove barriers to payment. You will be a strong problem solver; ideally from a stock based business, who is used to dealing with pricing, promotion/discount, POD queries etc. You will also be dealing with escalated UK accounts with aged debt and assisting to bring those accounts back within terms.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a credit controller from an FMCG or other stock based industry, who enjoys problem solving and reconciliations. You will be able to build relationships with internal stakeholders (overseas SSC members, UK accounting, customer service and sales teams) as well as customers. Good IT skills including Excel and ERP based accounting software.
