I am currently working with one of the largest not for profit care provider in the UK, specialising in providing high quality, person-centred care for older people, in care homes and extra care housing nationwide.
My client is looking for a candidate to fill their Regional Directors role covering Wales, Powys and Cardiff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client`s team managing a portfolio of 13 homes within Wales.

All applicants will ideally have experience working within a regional operational role. Applicants do not have to be based in Wales, but must live within a commutable distance.

Leading a team of care home managers, you will give them all the support they need to deliver excellent customer service, high quality standards for our residents, and strong leadership for our people
Working across all homes in your region, you will ensure each one provides high standards of customer care and services in line with company policy, customer expectations, service level agreements and current legislation
You will manage home performance, conducting monthly reviews to drive key areas such as occupancy levels, commercial awareness, customer focus, quality standards, people management and hour`s management
Carrying out monthly internal quality audits, you will ensure external regulatory requirements and internal processes and procedures are followed
It`s likely that a substantial amount of travel will be required, including occasional overnight stays and some evening commitments.

A proven record of leading outstanding customer service within a multi-sited, 24/7 business, in either a care or related sector
A natural people person who enjoys building lasting professional relationships and demonstrating the value of collaboration
An ability to quickly establish credibility and build rapport and trust amongst key stakeholders
Evidence of successfully managing and delivering business KPIs, as well as developing and implementing strategies to drive growth within a complex business
A proven record of leading outstanding customer service within a multi-sited, demanding business. Whilst experience within the care sector is beneficial, it`s not essential
A demonstrable record of effective decision making, strategic thinking and project delivery.

You can expect a competitive salary of circa £65,000 and benefits that include a Management Bonus Scheme - Discretionary bonus of up to 10% of base salary (maximum opportunity up to 30%)
