A well-known entertainment company are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their busy team in Manchester City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and motivated candidate to join a successful company with a fantastic reputation amongst both customers and clients.

As a Payroll Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the payment of monthly salaries and weekly wages to employees and temporary workers
  • Arranging transfers from the company's account to employees
  • Calculating tax deductions
  • Calculating National Insurance deductions
  • Setting up starters and leavers on the system
  • Administering P45s and P60s to starters and leavers
  • Producing P60s and P11Ds at year end
  • Dealing with payroll-related queries
  • Administering expense claim forms and authorising payments

As a Payroll Specialist, you will have/be:

  • End-to-end payroll experience, with a good understanding of (but not limited to) tax, employment knowledge, processing payrolls, calculations
  • Experience in a fast-moving environment with high volumes of work
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The desire the develop and progress in a payroll position
  • Strong IT skills, especially with MS Excel
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic, with a positive and professional attitude
