Further to a successful campaign of business growth, we are working closely with one of our manufacturing partners to appoint a Maintenance Engineer working a permanent days based role. The role of the as Maintenance Engineer you will be required to work on general engineering breakdowns on production / manufacturing / assembly machinery and ancillary equipment. The ideal candidate for this position of Maintenance Engineer will be 50/50 electrical / mechanical with experience of hydraulics and / or pneumatic. To maintain production equipment in line with manufacture’s recommendationsTo maintain buildings and secondary assembly linesFocus on continual improvements to both tooling and machinery to increase efficiencyTo provide analysis and feedback to the Production/Operations Manager on equipment effectivenessTo support R&D in analysis and design of new products and equipment requirementsTo ensure all electrical equipment and switch gear meets current HSE requirementsTo develop and maintain critical spares listJob Responsibilities
To liaise with the Production Manager on a daily basis to ensure that equipment is maintainedTo develop and update daily all computer records regarding maintenance requirementsTo work with the Quality Manger to maintain HSE standardsTo assist with purchasing spares and bought-out parts for ProductionTo plan and maintain the Preventative Maintenance ScheduleTo carry out all work and responsibilities with methodical care and accuracyTo liaise effectively with all other departmentsTo accept authority and work within company policyTo accept general duties according to the company’s requirementsTo maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion over company mattersTo comply with Health and Safety regulations as laid down by the company’s health and safety policyKey Words: “maintenance engineer”, “electrical maintenance”, plastics, “maintenance technician”, “automation engineer”, “automation technician”, “assembly”
