John Taylor Hospice Birmingham was founded in 1910 and gifted to the NHS in 1948. In 2011 the NHS approved the case for it to become an independent mutual. The retail division is a new venture for JTH and the appointment of an effective and inspirational shop manager is crucial. Reporting to the Business Development and Retail Manager, you will assist in the setting up of new shops and take overall responsibility for the day to day management of your shop.As a Shop Manager for John Taylor Hospice you will help and support the Business Development and Retail Manager by developing, leading and motivating your team of staff and volunteers, ensuring that sales and targets are achieved and surpassed; motivate your team to deliver fantastic customer service, meet performance targets and work continually to improve the work of the hospice.
