I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a ledger clerk to join the small team on a permanent basis. This manufacturing company have 2 sites across the UK and are very well respected in their field.

There will be about an 80% to 20% split on purchase ledger and sales ledger duties.

Main duties to include:

PL:
Checking, matching coding and posting invoices (roughly 600 invoices per month)
Posting suppliers payments.

SL:
Posting customers receipts
Chasing customer payments (2-3 days per month)

Other ad-hoc duties:

Helping with credit card receipts and expense claims receipts.

The successful candidate will be a positive, energetic, eager to learn individual who is happy to engage in different tasks. Reporting directly to and working closely with the onsite management accountant this is a great permanent opportunity for somebody with solid transactional experience.
