Technical Sales Engineer - Engineering & Manufacturing / Capital Equipment / Machinery - Manchester

Company and Role

White Label Recruitment are currently representing a highly innovative Engineering Manufacturing Company who have an excellent UK and Worldwide presence in their market. This company has been established for over 50 years and manufacture very niche capital equipment to a vast and impressive client list across different industries

Role and Responsibilities

·One part of the job will be feeding the enquiries, logging the enquiries, compiling the quotes and doing the costing

·Work with the customers to guide through the different machinery and work closely with them to put a bespoke tailor-made quote for them.

·Projects can often be delayed from the customer's side, so they will have to manage the follow up and maintain contact throughout

·Handle new enquiries as and when they come in

·There is the expectation that this person will progress into an external sales role in which they will have to travel overseas 30-50% of the year

·99% of the business is export all over the world

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

·Be professional and presentable as they will be dealing with / potentially meeting with owners of businesses / multi-millionaires regularly

·Highly desirable if they have capital equipment experience, motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, etc.

·Experience in preparation of costings and technical specifications

·Looking for graduates or HNC/HND in any engineering discipline who have some sales experience

·Second Language an advantage but not essential

·Overseas travel experience is an advantage
