Digital Optimisation Manager



The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for one of most illustrious financial services organisations based in the heart of Cardiff. They are looking to expand their exceptional team by adding a Digital Optimisation Manager.   • Working with the marketing and aggregator teams in order to own and manage areas for improvement in line with the direct to site customer journeys
  • Investigate and assess customer behaviour using analysis and behavioural tools to assess existing pain points and create test hypothesis
  • Define, deliver and measure through test and learn methodology
  • Identify opportunities and develop business cases with robust metrics and compelling customer outcomes, securing commitment and investment to implement strategies which improve conversion
  • Continuous improvement ethos to scour the market for latest technologies and competitors for latest innovations and developments
  • Support the design of ‘new’ customer journeys and optimise existing sites
  • Assist with the strategic deployment of conversion based technology into customer facing areas to improve direct to site customer experience and continuous monitoring to maximise commercial value


  • CRO experience
  • Adobe analytics experience (highly desirable)
  • Ability to articulate a compelling story to capture minds and passion of key stakeholders
  • Exposure to Wire frame and UX development
  • Experience using optimisation and testing tools such as Sessioncam and Adobe Target (highly desirable)
  • Working within a high volume digital transactional environment would be beneficial
  • Experience of data analysis and value modelling
  • Understanding of UX principles across a range of devices/technologies
  • A good understanding of Web/App/Form Fill technology capabilities
  • Analytical ability to organise complex information into logical groups and categories
