We are recruiting on behalf of our clients, an award winning practice of Multidisciplinary Consulting Engineers, who are seeking to appoint a highly client focused & capable Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their busy central Birmingham office

Role:

Reporting to an Associate Director and involved with projects ranging from smaller developments to major schemes, including with high profile architects, your role will include:

  • HVAC/ Mechanical Services design on projects from concept to completion
  • Production of design specifications
  • Heading design team meetings
  • Preparation of tender documentation
  • Contractor supervision
  • Project cost control
  • Involvement in fee bidding & marketing activities

Job Requirements:

  • Ideally degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • First class HVAC/ Mechanical technical design abilities with project experience across a range of sectors
  • Excellent communications skills
