My client, a leading North East Building Society, is seeking an experienced Financial Crime Specialist for a maternity cover position. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to assist with the management of the Financial Crime relationships between its existing clients and support the on boarding of new clients.

Their financial services outsourcing team provides expertise based on leveraging technology and a high standard of customer service to deliver an award winning, all encompassing service to our clients, giving them a proven track record for delivering success.

The Solutions Financial Crime Unit provides support to both new and existing Solutions clients to manage their regulatory obligations in relation to Financial Crime.

Role Summary

To assist with the management of relationship between FCU and third party clients of Solutions and to participate in new Solutions contract presentations and implementation projects.

To act as liaison for Third Party users of the Solutions systems, including:

  • Overseeing reports to clients,
  • Overseeing Solutions reports on fraud/AML,
  • Attending governance meetings, and
  • Following up issues raised.

To oversee proposals being made in relation to potential new NSSL clients and the on-boarding of new NSSL clients.

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have a good understanding of the Financial Crime threats facing the organisation and the key systems and controls to manage the risks effectively gained through experience of working within a Financial Crime department. The ability to interpret complex regulatory information as well and the knowledge of industry best practice is also desirable.

The applicant must have the confidence to challenge and communicate effectively at all levels with Solutions clients and senior managers via a range of methods.
