Baltic Training and City Electrical Factors are delighted to be recruiting for an Apprentice Technical Support Analyst to join an existing team at their office in Meadowfield, Durham! This exciting opportunity comes due to the continued success of our client who are electrical experts specialising in Data & Networking plus CCTV with Offices nationwide.

You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:

    Provide 1st and 2nd Line support on Technical issuesConfigure Laptops, PC's, Terminals, Printers, PED's etc.Provide support on peripherals such as Laptops, PC's, Terminals, Printers, PED's, and Barcode Readers etc.Active Directory administrationLog data circuit faults with BTManage company printers and hardware returns

Training to be Provided:

  • Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
  • Networking Fundamentals - MTA
  • Mobility and Device Fundamentals - MTA
  • Cloud Fundamentals - MTA
  • Coding and Logic
  • ITIL Foundation
  • External Assessment, Synoptic Project and Overview

Skills and qualifications required:

  • 5 GCSE's A-C grades, including Math's and English.
  • Very good communication skills, methodical and logical approach to tasks
  • Must enjoy problem solving
  • A natural aptitude for understanding technical information
  • A genuine interest in IT and technology

The future is bright:

Upon completion of the programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our Level 4 programme and take your training even further.

Salary, hours and benefits:

  • £182 per week
  • Full-time Apprenticeship

Location and Travel:
This role is located in Meadowfield, Durham and is easily accessible via public transport routes.
