My client is a well-established digital business operating both in the UK and overseas. This newly created Purchase Ledger position has come to light due to my client forecasting an extended period of growth in the next couple of years. To support this growth my client is introducing key new processes and procedures and the new appointment will be integral to their targets being met. The duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be:

  • Ability to manage high volumes of invoices
  • Ad hoc project work for the Finance Manager
  • Ensure invoice details are accurately input
  • Ensure all invoices are paid to terms
  • Assist in the preparation of BACS and Cheque, weekly and monthly
  • Prepare supplier statement reconciliations
  • Ensure all filing is done accurately and promptly
  • Deal with supplier queries
  • Presenting Purchase Ledger reports
