The opportunity to join an organisation as a Finance Assistant to assist the service charge function providing an excellent service to external and internal customers. We are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking individual with previous experience within a finance environment to take on this position.

Within this role, you will be responsible for;

  • Assisting in the maintenance and development of the approach to charging and accounting for service charge activities
  • Support with process improvement to increase the recovery rates of costs.
  • Assist in the setting of charges, reviewing costs and estimating future charges.
  • Support in all routine accounting issues e.g. accruals, prepayments and reconciliation of control accounts.

Knowledge of Excel is essential for the positionn as well as an understanding of computerised accounting systems. You will also have completed AAT or be actively working towards becoming AAT qualified.
