Training Delivery Consultant (Financial Services AML/BFCC)

GP Strategies Ltd (GPSL) are looking to recruit an AML/BFCC Training Specialist to join their team, you will be responsible for delivering learning solutions and programs for one of GP’s global accounts in line with regulatory requirements.
Although you will be home based this role requires regular national travel (predominantly London, Birmingham and Manchester) with the possibility of some international travel where you will be working on customer sites. Overnight stays will be expected as well as the need for you to be a car owner/driver.
?What will you do?
Deliver quality technical/procedural training and learning solutions to meet the stated objectives of each course within AML/BFCC for one of GP’s accounts, aligning these to business goals and needs.
Manage time effectively in order to plan, organise and deliver learning programmes in a timely manner, delivering course objectives in line with class timetables.
Maintain current knowledge & subject matter expertise of regulatory and procedural requirements and ensuring these are incorporated into delivery, providing and accepting feedback to minimise risk.
Engage fully with the wider Financial Services Delivery Team in order to maximize delivery capability across the wider group.
Provide support and expertise to the design & development of new programs where required.
Ensure that all trainings are effectively and efficiently evaluated using the appropriate documentation/systems; using this this information you will seek to improve personal and course effectiveness.
Build constructive and value adding relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders as required.
Resolve any issues associated with delivery to client group, ensuring appropriate stakeholders identify and take required steps.
Do you have?
Previous experience operating in a regulated business environment, with exposure to Regulatory Compliance (RC) issues and Financial Crime (FC) prevention including procedural and product knowledge in a range of financial sector institutions.
An understanding of customer information and privacy.
Experience facilitating relationship training (building relationships, difficult conversations etc.).
Facilitating skills for basic recall exercises which ae meant to be fun
Experience with risk and risk management training
Ability to deliver and facilitate training and workshops at a high level of learner engagement, with an adaptable style to suit the delegate mix, in a way to maximise learning.
Ability to broaden discussion by encouraging viewing issues from different perspectives and in using metaphors, stories and examples to enhance learning.
Detailed industry knowledge in financial crime, regulatory compliance and legislative requirements
Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance management
Familiarity with current and emerging good practices in FCC
An understanding of international and governmental agencies role in the regulation of the Financial services sector
A formal qualification or accreditation in a related subject area e.g ACAMS, CISI, ICA would be desired
