Sheridan Maine are pleased to be exclusively recruiting for a reputable and established business in Staffordshire area. We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team in support during the busy period, this is a fixed-term role for a period fo 6 months.

To be a successful candidate for this Credit Control role you will ideally have:
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience in dealing with Aged dept.
  • Experience in Account reconciliation.
  • Experience with Cash allocation and bank reconciliations.
  • At least 2 years experience in a Credit Control role.
  • Used to working to deadlines and in a KPI driven environment.
As a Credit Controller your duties would include, but will not be limited to:
  • Collecting payments on assigned authority & non authority funder accounts.
  • Daily cash posting, allocation and input into computerised systems.
  • Regular account reconciliations and management.
  • Proactive confirmation of receipts of invoices and identifying any disputes preventing payment.
  • Reducing aged debt, increase cash collection, timely cash allocation and query resolution with targeted corporate environment.
  • Build good working relationships and trust.
  • Ensure both personal and team targets are achieved.

As a Credit Controller you will join a busy Finance team on a Fix Term contract for a period of 6 months. This role is vital to the business to ensure that achieve their plans for the future.
