Service Manager for Supported Living
We are currently recruiting for a client who is looking for a Service Manager to oversee three of their services for adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs and physical disabilities in the Tameside area.
The services under the successful candidates charge will be two apartments for 20 residents with Learning disabilities and mental health needs and one small service for 3 people with physical disabilities and autism. Each service has two Team Leaders employed providing an excellent support network.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-Taking full responsibility of running the 3 services.
-Ensuring that the company's policies and procedures are fully and consistently implemented.
-Recruiting and training of staff in order to develop the workforce to meet requirements.
-Ensuring that care plans are being effectively communicated to care workers and that workers understand their responsibilities and duties.
-Taking effective action to address areas of dissatisfaction or poor performance.
- Must either have previously been a Manager in a care setting or have strong experience as a Deputy.
- Must have had prior experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities or be willing to upskill their knowledge surrounding this.
-Must have a L4 qualification or equivalent or be working towards this.
-Must show leadership potential and be patient and personable.
-A Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is essential for thisposition
