Blu Coal are urgently seeking a Sales and Tendering Engineer to support the sales and tendering process, by assisting with tendering, administration, contracts handover, customer handling and sales generation. The Sales and tendering Engineer will also involve direct support for the sales team, assisting them with their external activities.
The Key responsibilities of the Sales and Tendering Engineer will be as follows:
* Support the external sales/export engineers* Maintenance of Tender Procedures and documentation* Maintain and update the CRM system* Follow-up open tenders to assist sales managers* Setting appointments and assistance in getting hold of key contacts* Continue to develop database of generic drawings* Customer Pre-qualification questionnaires* Support for UK and Export Agents and Distributors
From the Sales and Tendering Engineer, we will be looking for the following:
* Sound understanding of contractual terms and conditions* Understanding and application of commercial terminology * Experience of Team center CAD application* Knowledge and experience of tendering engineered equipment worldwide* Contract engineering and electrical engineering knowledge would be an advantage* Degree qualification would be an advantage
