Water Technician Job in Bristol paying circa £25,000 in a world leading water consultancy

Your new role
Your new role will be reporting to the Principal Engineer, you will lead design work on smaller schemes and be a part of a multi-disciplinary team on larger projects. You will be required to undertake significant elements of the detailed design; e.g. calculations, drawings, sketches, reports etc, to achieve the optimum solution for the project. The projects may include clean and waste water treatment works, where you will be developing your understanding of treatment processes as well as all civil design elements and the interaction with other design disciplines. Opportunities in water and wastewater infrastructure will also exist where the combination of hydraulics and topography as well as 3rd party and environmental parameters and pumping station efficiencies may drive the optimum solution.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience of working with an engineering consultancy within the water industry, either on multi-disciplinary treatment works schemes, or infrastructure projects. You will have good relevant experience but most importantly be able to demonstrate the learning from this experience in order that you will continue to grow and learn in a challenging environment. Familiarity with relevant software packages such as MS Project and the Microsoft Office suite.
