Job Title: Infrastructure Technician

Location: Radbroke Hall, Knutsford

As part of the Infrastructure Services, the Middleware Authentication Services team provides Infrastructure support across different services within the Bank. The team manages and supports Access Management (IAM) and Identity Management (IDM) components which are hosted as a shared service across multiple portfolios.

Your Role
  • The vacancy is for a BA4 working on infrastructure management, support (production and various pre-pro environments) and maintenance. The BA4 role would support IAM & IDM components for technical project delivery of Barclays Middleware Technologies.
  • The role provides exposure to leading edge Middleware software technology hosting and orchestrating mission critical services for the group.
  • The major responsibilities would be to work on cloud and automation strategy for Authentication Services and to define and implement approach for infrastructure uplift.

Essential Skills
  • IBM Tivoli Directory Server v6+
  • IBM Tivoli Access Manager v6.1.1 & 7.0
  • IBM Tivoli Identity Manager v5.1
  • SSL encryption and certificate management

Desirable Skills
  • UNIX (primarily AIX, Solaris, LINUX)
  • Scripting skills (shell/perl/javascript)
  • SunOne Java Directory Server
  • IBM DB2 Database
