As our new Agile Project Manager you will work to establish effective project communities, and help them to structure projects around incremental and frequent delivery based upon agile principles.

This role will be responsible for establishing effective communications, RAID management, Scrum ceremonies and agile practices whilst also aid continuous improvement activity across the department and organisation.

Your core focus will be to bring together representatives across teams and functions in order to create successful business outcomes in a faced paced environment. It combines traditional project management disciplines with that of a Scrum Master and Agile Coach role.

Key responsibilities of the Agile Project Manager include:

Manage software development projects including activities such as budgeting, schedule, resources, documentation and tracking.

Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedule to ensure timely completion of project.

Identify critical capabilities, project resources, budgets and critical path issues and reports to project sponsors/project team.

Ensure project activities are carried out, and timelines and budgets are met.

Leverage technical expertise for project planning, resource management, system / technology / validation, testing and implementation planning.

Act as liaison to Project sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure project is completed and meets business requirements

Core Requirements:

Managed a range of project types, including software development, infrastructure, third party products all within an agile environment

Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Managed external and outsourced development partners

Managed budgets of up to 2m (not for non-senior)

Ability to manage multiple projects

Understanding of DevOps objectives and principles

Preferable Requirements:

Educated to Bachelor's degree level

Previous experience of software development

Exposure to an FCA or SOX regulated environment
