St George’s Park Retirement Village is set in 250 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside in Burgess Hill and provides over 200 retirement apartments for the over 60’s. The final stage of our retirement village has recently opened which includes a Leisure Centre and Café.
We are now seeking a Hospitality Supervisor, to oversee the smooth running of our Restaurant, shops, Café and Leisure Centre and supervise the team of Hospitality Assistants. The successful candidate will be involved with conducting probationary reviews, appraisals and providing induction training for new staff members.
The job role will involve undertaking all the daily duties of the Hospitality Assistant which will include:
- Waiting tables and serving the residents with meals and snacks throughout the day.
- Working in the Bar Area
- Serving in the shop and checking stock control.
- Keeping the restaurant and catering outlets clean and tidy and maintained at a high standard.
- Work closely with the Head Chef regarding catering requirements and organising functions, along with managing the function throughout.
This is a very busy and varied role. The applicant should be prepared to work hands on and have a flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
