Senior PR Account Manager
A real opportunity to build a fantastic career with a growing PR team with an enviable roster of consumer clients.
It's quite unusual for us to get roles through which offer such a tantalising opportunity to build your career. Our client is one of the leading full-service agencies in the Midlands, and is successfully developing their PR offering - so much so that they really do need an extra pair of hands to come on board and work with them. As Senior PR Account Manager, you will be responsible for much of the client planning and organisation, allowing the Director to focus on the many new business pitches which are coming their way. As part of a small, but growing, team you will work across PR, Social and Content for clients within retail, lifestyle, and food and beverage sectors with regional and national briefs, line-managing an AM and AE, and you'll be keen to get out there to networking events, helping the Director grow the business.
What we're looking for
We really do need someone with a consumer background for this fantastic role - retail would be absolutely fantastic, but all consumer will be considered as long as you can demonstrate your understanding of the rigours of the sector and the planning required. You'll be a Senior PR Account Manager who is really familiar with the Midlands landscape and able to build relationships and partnerships with important contacts, and you'll have an understanding of the relevant media. You'll be self-sufficient and confident and be keen to encourage the success of the business. Ideally, you'll already be at a Senior PR Account Manager level, but if you've been an AM for at least 12 months and are finding that progression is not forthcoming, this is a role you may also want to consider. Driving license is essential.
What's on offer?
This is by no means a small team environment, the PR division can (and does) draw upon the tremendous resources of the rest of the agency, and it is an agency well-known for its fantastic environment. There are lots of opportunities for progression and for being part of a successful, growing team. The salary for the role is, of course, dependent on level and experience, but will be between £28,000 and £35,000.
