Desktop Analyst - Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire - £20,000 - £22,000. The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a well-established, successful professional services organisation in their search for an experienced desktop support Engineer.

This role will suit a bright, ambitious and dedicated individual with strong experience providing 1st line technical support and excellent customer service skills in a Helpdesk or Service Desk environment. You will receive excellent training and will be responsible for providing remote and deskside support for customers across the UK-wide business.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows 7, MS Office, VMware, Active Directory and Group Policy within a business environment and you will be confident troubleshooting and configuring hardware devices including desktops, laptops, mobiles and printers. Basic networking experience with TCP/IP, routing protocols, DNS and DHCP alongside good knowledge of Windows Servers would be highly desirable as would experience working in an ITIL environment.
