We are opening a new long term Residential Children’s Home for Disabled Children in the heart of Shrewsbury. Are you considering moving into a management role? We are looking for a Team Leader with the skills and experience to work with the Registered Manager to develop a new team As a Team Leader, you will be working 37 hours a week and will have  operational responsibility in the absence of the Registered Manager. You will be working as part of a team providing Residential Care for Children and Young People aged 5-17 years with a learning disability, physical disability, autism and health needs. The home will be open 24 hours a day, 52 weeks a year. You will be expected to work 2 residential shifts a week and work every other weekend. How you’ll make a difference: By working with the Registered Manager to lead and manage an inspiring team to provide an excellent standard of care By creating a ‘home from home’ environment which nurtures, supports and develops young people to reach their full potential  By designing a programme to ensure the young people have fun whilst developing their independence By ensuring that all relevant paperwork is of a high standard By ensuring that the home meets the Quality Standards By ensuring that all young people in your care are kept safe  What you’ll need: A relevant Qualification and relevant experience for the role A driving licence is desirable but not essential A vision to develop and promote the home to ensure its success To apply please visit our website via the apply button.
